I am a home decorating and design enthusiast with a love for creating beautiful, functional spaces.

In 2020, after years of sketching house plans on scratch paper, my husband Dan and I broke ground on our current home. Before that, we spent 10 years in a builder-grade home, transforming it room by room into a space we truly loved. That experience sparked my passion for design and decorating and taught me how impactful thoughtful changes can be.

Designing and building our home from the ground up allowed us to make every decision—from finishes to paint colors—with intention. Dan, who worked as a trim carpenter through college, did all the trim work himself, and together we brought our vision to life. But by the time we moved in, we were exhausted—and out of budget for furnishing a new space.

That’s when I discovered the art of refinishing furniture. Giving thrifted pieces a second life let me create the high-end look I loved, affordably. I even began selling the pieces I refinished and loved the before-and-after transformations so much, I started sharing them on Instagram.

Today, I share the home and furniture projects Dan and I complete, decorating tips, favorite affordable finds (plus a few splurges that are worth it!), and glimpses into our everyday life. My style is timeless and traditional with a modern, streamlined twist—and my goal is always to help others create a home they truly enjoy.

With three young kids, a husband, and a dog, I understand the need to balance beauty and practicality. I believe your home can support your family’s lifestyle and reflect your personal style.
